Education Scholarship Program

In view of the fact that our greatest asset is our employees, we have developed a nurse or health care related educational assistance program.  Through this program we will assist qualified candidates to further their education in nursing or other health related fields.

Eligibility

Interested individuals must be employed by Christian Care Retirement Community for at least six (6) months. They must possess an exemplary attendance record and work performance and should display and demonstrate concern and compassion for people. The individual can work in any department.

A minimum schedule of 15 hours per week, which includes every other weekend, must be worked at Christian Care Retirement Community, along with maintaining a "C" or better average grade level.

Procedure

Qualified individuals may obtain a Letter of Interest from Human Resources or by printing it from the attachments below.  The Letter of Interest/Scholarship Application must be submitted to the Executive Director or Administrator prior to the start of the class. This letter shall contain anticipated book and tuition costs, the reason why there is an interest in the nursing or health care related career, and why financial assistance is being requested. Christian Care Retirement Community will grant or deny such a request based on its sole discretion based on the factors set forth above. In addition, if such requirements are not met during the semester, employee will be required to pay back the tuition reimbursement in accordance with the Tuition Reimbursement Agreement. Employees must submit a Letter of Interest for approval for each class.
