Admission & Pricing

Admission Requirements:

Christian Care wants to make the admissions process as easy as possible.  If applicable, our admissions coordinator may do a screening to help determine what level of care is appropriate. Since there are a variety of living options, a tour may be appropriate to help determine which villa or apartment is the best fit. After a villa or apartment is selected, a payment plan and contract needs to be signed. After admission, copies of identification information will be requested. Copies of your power of attorney and living will paperwork may also be requested to complete your file.

Nursing Care and Assisted Living require pre-admission screenings along with a completed application. Our admissions team will come to your home or hospital room by request. For Nursing Care, doctors must complete a history and physical that includes current orders for medicines, treatments, and an order for admission to Nursing Care. We will need copies of your living will and durable power of attorney.  Nursing Care and Assisted Living residents also need a chest x-ray and/or Mantoux test completed within the last six months.

Christian Care Retirement Community offers several pricing models to meet your desires.

Villas & Apartments:

There are several payment options When moving into one of our villas, independent living apartments, or assisted living apartments.  Some residents prefer a rental model for payment. There is either a minimal or no down payment and the resident simply pays a monthly rental fee for the villa or apartment. For the apartments, utility costs are included in the monthly fee. Services such as freshly prepared meals and help with medication are included in some options and are paid for separately in other options.

Christian Care also provides the option of paying a larger down payment and then a smaller monthly fee. The down payment is partially refundable and can be carried with a resident if a move is needed from independent living to assisted living. This option can save money in the long run if a resident stays in their villa or apartment for a certain number of years. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible in providing fair and easy payment options.

Skilled Nursing Rooms:

Christian Care charges a daily rate for skilled nursing rooms. There are semi-private, private, and memory care room rates available. Christian Care is fully certified with Medicare and Medicaid. Certain skilled nursing stays can be covered by Medicare. If a resident runs out of funds and qualifies for Medicaid, room and board can also be paid by Medicaid.
