Our Christian Environment

Christian Care Retirement Community is committed to providing a Christian Environment for residents. Bible readings, devotional time, and out-loud prayer are all part of a regular week. Church services are scheduled twice a week for all, regardless of denomination. Our indoor chapel easily accommodates residents and family alike.

Staff and volunteers are encouraged to live their faith among the residents. The Board of Directors is committed to regular prayer for Christian Care as an organization as well as all those served. Christian Care is not a business; it is truly a ministry. Christian service is the heart of what we do.

Our Caring Staff

One of the greatest traits of Christian Care is the quality and longevity of our staff. In every department, Christian Care employees have been with us for longer than most other senior care facilities. Christian Care is committed to hiring the best possible employees and then providing ample training to ensure the highest quality in customer service to our residents and their families. Christian Care has learned that if employees are treated well, they will automatically treat the residents the same way. Serving our residents is more than work; it is a wonderful opportunity to care for the needs of those we love.

Christian Care also has some of the highest staff-to-resident ratios in the industry. We are committed to ensuring enough staffing to provide the best nursing and customer service available. Christian Care has been able to provide this higher staffing level while still keeping rates well below the local average. Christian Care also promotes consistent staffing, so that the same employees are almost always working with the same residents to further create strong relationships and better service.

Our Comfortable Living Options

Christian Care provides a wide variety of comfortable living options for a variety of needs. Christian Care has three levels of care with multiple options at each level:

Christian Care is the only retirement community in the Bluffton area that provides seven separate and distinct living options. In the main building, four separate living areas provide retirement living with the best features and benefits available. These neighborhoods each focus on a separate and unique individualized program of service:

Congregate Independent Living – For independent residents who desire a carport and yet easy access to quality dining services, fun activities, and enjoyable neighbors.
Assisted Living – For residents who want to maintain their health by having things done for them such as making their bed, cleaning their apartment, doing their laundry, and cooking for them. Since we are a licensed facility, we can also administer medications, minor wound treatments, and personal care treatment plans.
Skilled Nursing Memory Care - For those who are most safe in a secured perimeter with 24 hour supervision, redirection and tender care.
Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation – For those with short-term or ongoing medical conditions that can often benefit from intensive therapy and 24 hour nursing attention. The goal for some residents is to enjoy life and feel at home. The goal for other residents is to provide the professional resources and therapy necessary to allow the patient to return to their home.

Christian Care Retirement Community also provides spacious two bedroom villas with two baths and attached garages. The property around the main building and across the road are used for these beautiful homes and the landscaping and walkways that connect them.
