In this article I would like to take the opportunity to encourage you to make some good choices for the future and to make you aware of our needs. One way to do that is to eat better foods, get more sleep and to do something for someone else on a regular basics. Here is where I share with you our needs, many of our faithful volunteers are getting up there in years and are needing to decline from volunteering. What is sad to face is the younger age group doesn't have the desire to set aside 1 day a month to minister/volunteer to our elderly or to the needy. Please help me bridge the gap of awareness and desire to whose who could be so helpful. If you know of someone who could fit into these cartegories, give them our name and have hem contact the volunteer coordinator at 260.565.3000 ext. 143 for more details. Remember your volunteering brings you as much joy as you bring to our staff and our precious residents. |
